Chelsea are being repeatedly linked with a move for David Trezeguet.Chelsea are being repeatedly linked with a move for Juventus star David Trezeguet despite the Italian outfit insisting he is not for sale.
The Bianconeri have already rebuffed an approach from the Stamford Bridge powerbrokers for their French forward, with Chelsea desperate to deepen their attacking options after selling both Mikael Forssell and Mateja Kezman.
After encountering difficulties in their pursuits of both Internazionale star Adriano and Parma sensation Alberto Gilardino, The Blues have also identified former Monaco man Trezeguet as a potential recruit.
Recent reports have suggested that Juve supremo Luciano Moggi could be willing to accept around é¼55 million for the 27-year-old, sparking further rumours that a deal could be on the cards.
Hernan Crespo, himself keen to stay with Milan, could be used as a potential makeweight in any deal whilst Juventus are keen on Roma hot shot Antonio Cassano - a pursuit that would be given greater momentum with an injection of transfer funds.
However Trezeguet remains committed to the Stadio Delle Alpi outfit, and the Bianconeri have never publicly admitted that they wish to offload their prolific asset.
