Real Sociedad's Nihat Kahveci is ready to leave The Anoeta.
Turkish forward Nihat Kahveci has opened the door to a transfer from Real Sociedad, after the Basque club failed to meet his wage demands.
Nihat was set to move to CSKA Moscow in what was seen as a stepping-stone to a transfer to Chelsea. It was believed that the Turkish international would spend a season in Moscow before moving to Stamford Bridge through Roman Abramovich's Russian connections.
However, the CSKA move has broken down due to injury, and it is now believed that Fenerbahce are ready to lure the 25-year-old back to Turkey.
Nihat himself does not seem to be overly bothered about where he plays football next season, so long as the personal terms are satisfactory.
"It could be any of these clubs - I don't mind," said Nihat.
"Fenerbahce have a coach I've worked with before and they have made big investments. They're a big club in Turkey and in Europe, so why not?
"A club that wants me must agree a deal with Sociedad first. I could even stay if they (Sociedad) meet my wage demands."
