Chelsea are expected to dispatch scouts to Greece this Saturday.
Premiership champions Chelsea are expected to dispatch scouts to Greece on Saturday in order to run the rule over a mystery transfer target.
Blues officials faxed Kallithea to request two VIP tickets for Saturday's match with AEK Athens.
The exact identity of The Blues' target is unknown although rumours suggest it could be Kostas Katsouranis of AEK.
The 26-year-old midfielder was a key player during Greece's unlikely Euro 2004 success and has been ear-marked as a possible Premiership star in the making.
Katsouranis enjoys a burgeoning reputation in his homeland and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho may have been alerted to the player's potential as the Portuguese spreads his net far and wide in the search for summer reinforcements.
