Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon has ruled out moving to Chelsea in January.
Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon has dismissed the possibility of a January move to Chelsea by insisting he will remain in Turin until the summer.
The World Cup winner remained loyal to Juve in the summer by opting to stay at the Stadio Delle Alpi despite their relegation to Serie B for their part in the match-fixing scandal.
Buffon has relished the challenge of helping Juve battle back to the elite, but the injury to Chelsea's Petr Cech led to talk that the keeper could be prised away from the Old Lady.
Chelsea have not been drawn to comment on the possibility of a January raid on Turin, but any offer would likely fall on deaf ears.
"Before June I won't move. Then, we will evaluate everything," Buffon told Rai tv.
Juve finally moved into positive numbers at the weekend and the focus in Turin will be on overhauling the leaders in Serie B.
Buffon has a contract until 2010 and his statement is sure to ease the nerves in Turin.
