Varane was recently described as the 'best young central defender in the world' by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who was in charge of Real Madrid when they landed the player from French side Lens in 2011.
Chelsea could be in the market for defensive reinforcements after agreeing a deal for the sale of David Luiz to Paris Saint-Germain, but Varane is not paying attention to the rumours.
The 21-year-old's immediate priority is a World Cup campaign with France this summer and he does not want to think about his club future.
Asked about the reported interest from Chelsea, Varane told French TV show Telefoot: "Will I remain a Real player next term? I am absolutely not focused on that.
"There is a World Cup to prepare for and it is not the right moment to have such questions."
Varane helped Real Madrid to Champions League glory earlier this month, although the final was marred by ugly scenes at the end as Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone lost his temper.
Simeone ran on to the pitch to confront Varane, but the Real defender has insisted there is no problem between the pair.
He explained: "First, I have a lot of respect for Mr Simeone, both as a player and as a coach.
"In the context of a Champions League final, at the end of the game, there is a lot of tension with two competitors and the tension quickly increased."
