Philippe Coutinho was all smiles in his first training session back at Liverpool following his failed summer exit to Barcelona.
The Brazil star pulled up at Melwood on Thursday morning, having flown back to England from international duty via private jet on Wednesday.
Coutinho shared jokes with left-back Alberto Moreno before engaging in drills with the rest of his team-mates ahead of the Reds' clash with Manchester City on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Premier League.
The 25-year-old was the subject of three huge bids from Barcelona throughout the summer and wanted to move to the Nou Camp after Neymar's world-record exit to Paris Saint-Germain.
The midfielder submitted a transfer request in August that was immediately rejected, but he has not played in any of Liverpool's games so far this season, with boss Jurgen Klopp citing an injured back and illness as the cause.
Coutinho's friend and former doctor back in Brazil claimed his back complaints were caused by "anxiety" over the uncertainty regarding his future, but he played and scored for his country in a World Cup Qualifier several days ago.
