Sadio Mane has been named in Senegal's squad for their final World Cup Qualifiers next month, despite suffering a recent hamstring injury.

Mane missed Liverpool's goalless draw with Manchester United last weekend after hurting his hamstring on international duty against the Cape Verde Islands on October 7.

The forward was expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks but Senegal coach Aliou Cisse is convinced Mane will be fit enough to return for their forthcoming matches against South Africa on November 10 and 14.

"In my mind there's no doubt he will be with us for the double header against South Africa and that he will be 100 per cent fit," Cisse told a news conference in Dakar.

Jurgen Klopp felt Liverpool deserved three points after being the more active side in their 0-0 draw with Man Utd last Saturday

"Until now, he has just been doing some individual training - running in straight lines - but from next week, he is going to train harder and start working with the ball."

Mane scored 13 goals in 27 Premier League matches in his debut season for Liverpool following a £36m move from Southampton in the summer of 2016.

His campaign was curtailed by a knee injury in April but the 25-year-old picked up where he left off at the start of this season, bagging three goals in Liverpool's first three Premier League games this term.
