The youngster failed to have any real impact at Anfield, but was unlucky with injuries in his stint.
A temporary spell away from the club has handed the player a chance to prove his worth - and he hopes to return to The Premiership a better player.
"To play at Liverpool you must be at your very best, and that was not really the case for me," admitted Vignal to L'Equipe.
"I was injured a lot, and had a triple fracture in my foot.
"The loan was perfect for me and for Bastia too.
"In June I hope to return to Liverpool, and return to play."
Meanwhile, another player currently on loan out of Liverpool - Alou Diarra - is hopeful of being invited to return from Le Havre.
"He is willing to rejoin The Reds and Gerard Houllier has been made aware of this," said agent Janos Toth.
"We will see. Alou is very ambitious."
Two other Liverpool-owned French starlets - Anthony Le Tallec and Florent Sinama-Pongolle look likely to remain with Le Havre until 2004 to learn their trade.
