The French defender moved to the Corsican side after failing to regain his place in Gerard Houllier's side following a spell out with a foot injury.
Vignal had enjoyed a good run in the side before that, but opted to make the return to France to enable him to get more first-team football under his belt.
The 21-year-old says that he has enjoyed his loan stint with Bastia but is desperate to move back to Anfield and get a place back in Houllier's side.
"I absolutely don't regret the loan to Corsica. I have had a lot of fun," said Vignal. "I think I impressed.
"Mr Houiller probably knows what I am succeeding at here at Bastia. He should be happy.
"For me, I would love to go back to Liverpool so much. Liverpool is my dream. I love it.
"I am really proud to have played two-and-a-half seasons in this mythical club.
"In England, I improved a lot and I want to thank again Mr Houiller for hiring me from Montpellier."
Vignal has ruled out remaining with Bastia should he not be in Liverpool's plans for the future, and would only remain in France with one of Le Championnat's big clubs.
"I don't think I will stay at Bastia. I feel well, but I want to play at a higher level," he asserted.
"Clubs are following me, it is obvious.
"If Liverpool won't keep me, there will be other solutions, but not really in France.
"I would only go to PSG, Lyon, Lens and Marseille. I am a great fan of l'OM.
"I admit I am impatient. My dream is to play in the French team one day. It is a clear aim."
