Mandic has hit the headlines since Kewell's transfer from Leeds to Liverpool, and his lack of a Fifa license has already brought an inquiry into the deal.
However, Kewell has slammed his own soccer federation for not protecting him from their own agents' comments.
"If Soccer Australia is going to let agents they control get away with using me to big-note themselves then they can forget it," Kewell told The Age.
"There is no point playing for them.
"I'm not there for people to play their silly little games.
"If Soccer Australia can't protect their own players from this sort of garbage, then why should I bother?
"It's always the same old stuff in Australian soccer. A bunch of nobodies trying to be somebodies at somebody else's expense.
"Well it ain't going to be at mine.
"What business is it of licensed agents of Australia to stick their nose into something they know nothing about?"
The agent that made the complaint, Chris Tanner, has already insisted that he made the complaint as an individual and not under the umbrella of Soccer Australia, but it remains to be seen how the federation reacts to Kewell's statements.
