Lazio defender Giuseppe Favalli has admitted his dream is to play in England for Liverpool.
The 31-year-old feels his time in Rome will come to an end in the summer, even though he is currently an important part of coach Roberto Mancini's plans, as his contract expires in June.
"I want to end in a good way this season, achieving an important result with Lazio and then facing a new adventure, probably abroad," he told Chilometri.
One of the main reasons behind Favalli's decision to leave Italy is because he does not want to represent another club in Serie A.
Internazionale were keen to thrash out a deal last summer but Mancini stood firm and managed to hold onto the stopper.
"Of the many teams in the United Kingdom, I have to admit that Liverpool would be the most fascinating," added Favalli.
"It would be a dream."
