Prem trio handed French calls

Liverpool pair Florent Sinama-Pongolle and Anthony Le Tallec and Arsenal defender Gael Clichy have been included in the French Under-21 squad to face Belgium next week.

Coach Raymond Domenech has opted to select a 20-man party for the February 17 fixture, and the Premiership troika will get the chance to showcase their skills against the Red Devils.

Sinama-Pongolle (pictured) and Le Tallec have showed flashes of quality at Anfield following their summer moves from Le Havre and big things are expected of them in the future.

Clichy is rated highly by Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger and has proved a more than able deputy on occasions this term.
