Le Tallec was taken off on a stretcher from Liverpool's reserve clash with Birmingham with what looked a serious ankle injury.
It was feared that the young Frenchman would miss the rest of the season but he was keen to play down the extent of the problem.
Le Tallec arrived at Melwood with his ankle heavily strapped but insisted that he would be back playing soon.
"It is not too serious," Le Tallec told the club website. "I am having a scan later today (Tuesday) but hopefully I can be back up and running in about four or five days.
"It's frustrating to pick up an injury such as this but it's just one of those things. It was very painful at the time and I knew instantly that I couldn't continue."
Le Tallec will have a scan on the problem to uncover the full extent of the damage but hopes to be involved in the rest of the campaign.
