Harry Kewell faces a month on the sidelines through injury.Liverpool ace Harry Kewell has suffered a new injury blow which is set to keep him out of action for a month.
The Australian international picked up a groin injury during his side's win over Newcastle earlier this month and has missed Liverpool's last two games.
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez had hoped to have Kewell back in action for this weekend's clash with Chelsea, but he has been forced to have an injection on the injury.
Kewell has been troubled with the injury all season and it has been feared he may need to undergo an operation on the problem.
The former Leeds man will now be forced to sit out the next month as he recovers and the news is a blow for Kewell as he had recently shown glimpses of his top form.
"Harry saw a specialist on Wednesday and has received an injection in his groin. He is likely to be out of action for between four and five weeks," said Liverpool spokesman Ian Cotton
