The former Southampton hit-man has been out of action following his early red card in their home defeat to Chelsea.
Beattie will not have played a competitive game for a month due to suspension, but has kept fit in training.
Moyes is hoping Beattie can redeem himself in the club's remaining Premiership games after his Blues dismissal.
"He has done a lot of training and I am sure he will be ready to play both physically and mentally," explained Moyes.
"He came to Everton to make a name for himself. He came here because we are a big club with big ambitions.
"Now he has an opportunity to help us in the remaining nine games of the season.
"But he has had a stop-start season and, as I have said before, he is here for the long term."
Mikel Arteta is a doubt for the club's short trip to Anfield on Sunday and a late decision will be made on his availability.
"Mikel has done a bit of light training and we will decide later in the week if he is fit enough," he added.
