Liverpool's stars are interested in the progress of two Spanish starlets.
Xabi Alonso has revealed that Liverpool stars Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher have asked about Sevilla's Sergio Ramos and Jesus Navas.
The Reds duo are interested in the potential of the two Spanish starlets, sparking speculation that manager Rafa Benitez is also following their progress.
Ramos has long attracted attention from England with the 19-year-old rated as one of the most promising players of his generation.
Arsenal have been tracking Navas, also 19, but he signed a new contract at the start of this month.
"Gerrard and Carragher like to know things about Spanish soccer," Alonso told Diario de Sevilla. "Real Madrid, their players, and we spoke of Sevilla, Real Betis and their young players that leave.
"The other day, for example, Gerrard and Carragher asked about Sergio Ramos and Jesus Navas."
Gerrard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past and almost joined Chelsea last year.
However, the Liverpool captain could well be persuaded to remain at Anfield this summer, particularly if Benitez's side manage to win the UEFA Champions League final against Milan.
