Harry Kewell admits he and his Liverpool team-mates should be ashamed of themselves.Harry Kewell admits he and his Liverpool team-mates should be ashamed of themselves following their 2-0 loss at Charlton.
Despite dominating the opening periods, The Reds went down to two late goals in the first half with Darren Bent and Luke Young finding the net.
Liverpool's strikers are coming under pressure because of their lack of goals, but Kewell insists the whole squad most take responsibility for their shortcomings.
"We know what we can do and what we should have done, so we can only hang our heads in shame for what happened.
"The first 40 minutes of the game is nothing if you don't score a goal. We seem to have been doing that a lot lately.
"The manager has been telling us enough times to start finishing. As an attacker I take it upon my shoulders and accept part of the responsibility for scoring goals.
"The only people who can do it are those the manager selects to play in the attack.
"We have all got to take a look at ourselves and get our act together."
