Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has outlined his intent to keep Didier Deschamps' squad intact, as speculation mounts with regards the club's top players.Both talismanic captain Alessandro Del Piero and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon have been linked with moves away from the Turin giants, with stories of their possible exits resurfacing again at the weekend.
However, Cobolli Gigli remains hopeful that should Juve regain their Serie A status for next season then the likes of Del Piero and Buffon will turn their backs on offers from elsewhere.
"Nothing has been settled, everything is still to be done," he conceded.
"But I reaffirm that Juventus' intention is to do all that is possible to keep in Turin the most important players.
"We have a good dialogue with our players, so we will discuss soon in a correct way and considering the thoughts of everyone.
"On this basis, I think it will be possible to find an agreement point."
At the weekend, Del Piero stated his desire for Juve - should they indeed win promotion - to be immediately competitive in the top flight.
Del Piero admits he has high standards in mind for next year after agreeing to help Juve out of their current predicament and he now wants his loyalty to be rewarded by his paymasters being ambitious in their outlook.
"Obviously in Turin I'm in an ideal condition but the situation is really clear for me and also for Buffon and the others," said Del Piero.
"Granted that our job is to take Juve to Serie A without thinking too much to the future, we all expect for next year a really top level side, which will be immediately competitive.
"Me, Gianluigi and the others, we want to be part of a big Juve and hope that the club will do everything to allow this to become possible."
Meanwhile, reports from Italy suggest that Juve could turn to Liverpool favourite Mohamed Sissoko, after giving up their pursuit of West Ham's Javier Mascherano, a target of Reds boss Rafa Benitez.
Sissoko is currently out injured but is firmly established as a regular in Liverpool's first team and it seems unlikely that the Spaniard would sanction his departure - even if he lands Mascherano.
