Liverpool pair back in training

Image: Johnson: The full-back is in 'light training' after a hamstring injury

Liverpool defenders Fabio Aurelio and Glen Johnson have both returned to training following fitness problems.

But Dalglish underlines Agger absence is likely to be 'a few weeks'

Liverpool defenders Fabio Aurelio and Glen Johnson have both returned to training following fitness problems. The injury-prone Aurelio has not played a competitive match since the defeat to Aston Villa at the end of last season. Johnson has also been sidelined after sustaining a hamstring strain against Stoke in what was his comeback match following a previous thigh injury. But the pair are back at different stages of training and could have a chance of being included in the squad for Saturday's match against Wolves at Anfield. Manager Kenny Dalglish said: "Fabio is back in training and Glen Johnson started light training. Everybody else is fit which is good for us." But Liverpool's manager has reiterated Daniel Agger is unlikely to be fit until at least October after fracturing a rib in last weekend's demoralising 4-0 defeat at Tottenham. Dalglish said: "He has a fractured rib. There are varying lengths of time for people to get back from an injury like that. "We'll just let it heal and take it as it comes. He'll certainly not be fit for a few weeks."
