Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says he would not swap in-form striker Luis Suarez for 'anyone in the world' ahead the FA Cup final.

Reds skipper pleased striker heads into FA Cup final in good form

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says he would not swap in-form striker Luis Suarez for 'anyone in the world' ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final. The Uruguay international has netted 17 goals for the Reds this season, including a hat-trick to inspire their 3-0 victory over Norwich last weekend. Gerrard believes the frontman, who was rested for Monday's home defeat by Fulham, could be key for the Reds as they prepare to go up against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday. He told the Daily Star: "It's great for us that Luis is going into the final in such tremendous form. "It was a magical hat-trick at Norwich. He took his goals brilliantly. He showed that's a world-class player. "At the moment I wouldn't swap Luis for anyone in the world."

Torres

The Reds skipper feels ex-Liverpool ace Fernando Torres will be a threat if Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo chooses to field him on Saturday. The £50million Blues signing has found form in recent weeks, scoring in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Barcelona to seal Chelsea's place in the final and netting a hat-trick against QPR. Gerrard added: "We will have to wait and see what team their manager picks, but if Fernando Torres is in there then he will be a threat. "We saw on a daily basis when he was here what's capable of. He's had a difficult time at Chelsea but seems to have got his form back. "If he's selected, he will be one of a number of their players we'll have to keep a close eye on."
