International Champions Cup: Liverpool's Jordan Henderson relishing Manchester United clash

Jordan Henderson says Liverpool will prepare for Monday’s match against Manchester United in Miami the same way they approached all of their other pre-season fixtures in the United States.
The two teams contest the final of the International Champions Cup, which kicks-off at 1am British time (BST) in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and is being shown live on Sky Sports 1HD (programme starts 12.30am).
And looking ahead to another match between England’s two greatest football rivals, Henderson said: “Because it’s Manchester United, the fans will make a big thing out of it.
“But at the same time in all of the games in pre-season, our tempo has been right, we’ve approached the game well and this one’s no different.”
Last season, Liverpool beat United home and away, with the Anfield club finishing 20 points ahead of them in the Premier League table.
Asked about United’s chances this time around, he added: “I’m sure they’ll be challenging for the title this season.
“But we have to concentrate on ourselves and push on from last season.”
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers also believes United will improve on their performances from the last campaign: "It was unfortunate it didn't work out for them last year.

“But I would suspect, and they will expect, to put up a greater challenge this year.
"Louis (van Gaal) is someone I have watched for many years, he is a very experienced manager. It was unfortunate what happened with David (Moyes).
"But I am sure Louis will look forward to the challenge of working in the Premier League because it will be different to any other league he's worked in."
The match in Miami is being played at the Sun Life Stadium, where England faced Honduras and Ecuador in friendly matches ahead of their dismal World Cup campaign.
