Chris Hughton insisted Brighton's game plan will not change for the visit of Arsenal on Sunday, despite Gunners' recent bad form.
Arsenal head to the south coast to face Brighton, live on Sky, after being on the receiving end of two Manchester City masterclasses.
Last weekend's Carabao Cup final resulted in a 3-0 defeat at Wembley, and Arsene Wenger's side saw a repeat of the scoreline when the two clubs clashed again in the Premier League on Thursday.
"Any game plan we will have against Arsenal will be no different on Sunday had it been a week ago, two weeks ago," Hughton said.
"We are playing against a team that is full of top individuals that can hurt you. We have to line-up our team and prepare exactly for that."
Brighton are unbeaten since January 20 while Arsenal have now lost seven of their 13 games in all competitions this year.
The Seagulls have conceded two goals less than sixth-placed Arsenal despite the 14-point gap between them, and Hughton is looking upwards as he aims to keep his side in the Premier League for another season.
"It is always going to be more difficult for a lesser side to impose themselves on a team in the top six," he said.
"We will not allow ourselves to get caught up in Arsenal having had a couple of difficult games and we are in good form, we can only afford to play the right type of game."
