With the major leagues around Europe all coming to a conclusion this weekend, the biggest clubs are starting to make their moves on the transfer market.

Our friends at Football Whispers have scoured the European media to round up the latest transfer news and big stories.

Italy

Having announced he will play his last game for Juventus this coming weekend, Gianluigi Buffon's future is a hot topic. Rumours of talks with Paris Saint-Germain have emerged and, if the French club fail to tempt the 40-year-old, he can expect to receive lucrative offers from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City. Despite being linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, it seems Maurizio Sarri might decide to stay with Napoli after all. The Italian coach will renew his contract at the Stadio San Paolo after he was offered a new deal worth €4m (£3.49m) per year. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Should that prove to be true, reports suggests a list of transfer targets has been drawn up to help Sarri overthrow Serie A champions Juventus, with Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen believed to be a top priority. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

Spain

Manchester City will not be following up their interest in Sergio Busquets after learning that Barcelona will not allow the midfielder to leave for anything less than his €200m (£174.83m) release clause. Pep Guardiola and his side "recognise the quality" of the player, but are unwilling to pay such a sum in order to reunite the Spain international with his former boss at the Etihad Stadium. (Marca)

As he ponders his future, it is reported Arsenal transfer target Jan Oblak has three other options to consider should he opt to leave Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old goalkeeper is under contract for the next three seasons but Liverpool, Juventus and PSG have expressed their interest in signing him. (AS)

Another former Guardiola player with a number of offers to ponder this summer is Bojan Krkic. The forward, who is on loan from Stoke City at La Liga side Alaves, has the chance to return to the bet365 Stadium this summer. But he is also wanted by a raft of clubs in Spain, Germany, China and MLS. (Marca)

Germany

Admitting it is "time to take the next step" in his career, Barcelona transfer target David Alaba has sparked a flurry of transfer rumours. Seemingly ready to leave Bayern Munich, the full-back was a Chelsea transfer target last summer, and is now expected to be courted by Barcelona, Manchester City and Real Madrid. (Sport Bild)

With Arsenal's immediate future uncertain following the departure of Arsene Wenger, Shkodran Mustafi might also be set to leave the Emirates. The Gunners will look to rebuild their defence this summer and - having been left out of Germany's provisional squad for the World Cup - the 26-year-old could find himself surplus to requirements. He almost joined Inter Milan on loan last summer. (Sport Bild)

France

Everton are reportedly interested in Monaco midfielder Kevin N'Doram. The 22-year-old has made 11 Ligue 1 appearances this term and seemed set for a loan to another French club, but now is a potential target for the Goodison Park side. (L'Equipe)
