Danilevicius had wanted some time to think over the decision and eventually settled on the prospect of regular first team football.
The 22-year-old has found it difficult to break through at Highbury, being behind the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Thierry Henry and Kanu for a place in the side.
Pars manager Jimmy Calderwood was impressed by Danilevicius' showing in training, saying: "We've had to bring someone like Tomas in because we just aren't scoring enough goals.
"I think everyone can see that. He'll play for us tomorrow (Saturday)."
However, the news has been tempered with the revelation that along with Ian Ferguson, David Moss has also asked to be placed on the transfer list.
