The Gunners have been linked with a whole host of keepers over the last 12 months as they seek a long-term successor to David Seaman, and Babos is the latest to catch their eye.
Babos is in his first season with the Eredivisie club and has attracted a number of scouts from bigger clubs in Holland and beyond.
NAC manager Henk ten Cate used to train Babos when he was coach of MTK Budapest and brought him to the Fujifilm Stadium in the summer.
This signing has proved a success as despite indifferent form, NAC have one of the best defensive records in the league.
Another club thought to be interested in Babos are Feyenoord, whose keeper Jurzy Dudek is widely thought to be leaving Holland in the summer.
Dudek, Bordeaux's Ulrich Rame and Hertha Berlin keeper Gabor Kiraly have been the three names most strongly linked with a move to Highbury.
It is possible that if The Gunners head off the challenges of Serie A giants Juventus and Roma to Dudek's signature, then Feyenoord may look to Babos as his replacement.
