As we revealed on Sunday - click here - Arsene Wenger and vice-chairman David Dein were part of a North London delegation that flew to Rotterdam to take in Feyenoord`s game with Utrecht.
The Gunners have been linked with a host of goalkeepers over the past few months, but Wenger has always been a fan of Dudek and failed to capture him earlier this season.
However, the recent poor form of England`s David Seaman has seen Wenger again turn his attention to a new number one and it seems a new bid for Dudek has been launched.
Both Roma and Barcelona have shown strong interest in the 28-year-old who is widely considered as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe, but Wenger has seemingly moved first with a firm bid.
According to our sources in Holland The Pole will travel to the English capital on Tuesday with the blessing of Feyenoord chairman Jorien van den Herik, who has already lined up his replacement.
Feyenoord, who secured their place in the Champions League with the 2-2 draw against Utrecht, have asked NAC Breda about their Hungarian keeper Gabor Babos - ironically a supposed previous target of Arsenal.
It was also claimed that Utrecht defender Patrick Zwaanswijk came under the scutiny of Wenger.
The 28-year-old, who scored the equaliser on Sunday at De Kuip, has been watched by Arsenal before and he will have to have impressed the Higbury contingent with a sprakling display, which could prompt a bid.
