The fleet-footed Lithuanian struggled to make an impact at Arsenal since his move from Lausanne, and has decided to move to Belgium in search of first-team football.
The 23-year-old was behind Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Sylvain Wiltord and Kanu in the Highbury pecking order last term, and the summer capture of Francis Jeffers from Everton pushed him further out of contention.
He has decided to cut his losses after just three appearances in an Arsenal shirt, and will join former Gunners team-mate David Grondin at the Freethiel Stadium, as he is on loan for the whole of next term.
The sale of Danilevicius is somewhat timely for The Gunners, as he was under investigation as part of the false passport enquiry.
Meanwhile, a partnership between Arsenal and Beveren looks close to being sealed, with an agreement to loan players between the two clubs for the next five years could be signed as early as Wednesday.
