Parera: Nesta will end up at Inter

BARCELONA'S sporting director Anton Parera has revealed his thoughts on the summer's transfer activity, on both the coaching and player level, hinting that Manchester United target Alessandro Nesta could end up at Internazionale.

The Catalans have been strongly linked to Roma's Fabio Capello, who in reply claimed he would work for three years before retiring.

However, Parera claimed that Liverpool were also interested in the Italian maestro, whilst the future of Patrick Vieira and Real Madrid, Alessandro Nesta (pictured) and Internazionale, Tiko and Fabricio Collocini were also speculated upon.

Speaking on a range of subjects, Parera said: "Nesta, we have been advised will leave Lazio, but will move to Inter.

"Capello?  Now it is necessary to speak of Liverpool and Real Madrid.  The league finishes soon and we will have all of May and June to speak about coaches and players.

"Tiko, he's a great player but I doubt that Athletic will let him go.

"Vieira, it's said that he has agreed a deal with Madrid.

"Coloccini is a player for the future and he could end up going to a club with more ambition.

"I spoke with Arriedo Braida, a good friend of mine, about Coco and other subjects that we discussed together at the G-14.

Parera was speaking at the Planet Football conference and he finished off with a warning for arch-rivals Real over their proposed bid for Patrick Kluivert:

"Yes (he can go to Real), if anyone pays his buy-out clause he can go where he wants, but Barcelona will not sell him."
