Former Ipswich man Wright has appeared in all the other rounds apart from a third round win against Watford but his French manager is in no mood for sentiment and just wants to lift the cup come Saturday afternoon.
"Richard had a difficult start to the season and I told him that he deserved the chance to restore his image and for the Cup he has managed to do that," explained Wenger.
"Maybe he will play in the Final, I don't know, but I will do what I feel will win us the game.
"I told him I would play him in the Cup games and I've done that. i didn't say for how many games.
"The most important thing is whether Arsenal win the FA Cup. It was very frustrating to lose last year to Liverpool and we have shown a lot of character and resilience to get back into the Final this season. Now we want to win it."
Meanwhile, former Arsenal skipper Frank McLintock has insisted that it easier now to win the league and cup double than in his era.
"Nowadays you look at the league and there are only three teams with a realistic chance of winning it. In those days it was much more open," said McLintock.
"It is still extremeley difficult to win the Double but it was harder in my day."
The Scottish midfielder captained The Gunners double-winning team in 1971 and has watched on as Arsenal require a point against Manchester United to seal the title and only Chelsea stand between them and the FA Cup.
