Spanish starlet admits Premiership dream

MANCHESTER CITY target Pablo Ibanez has conceded that a move to The Premiership would represent a dream come true for him.

The Spanish Under-21 international defender currently plays for Albacete in Spain's Segunda Division, but has been attracting the attention of a number of European giants, including Arsenal, Leeds United and Roma.

The strapping 21-year-old centre back has been a key figure in Albacete's push for promotion this term, but the club would seem unable to turn down a sizeable bid for their prized asset.

The player himself has now gone on record to acknowledge that the opportunity to ply his trade in The Premiership would prove too good to turn down.

"I know Leeds, Arsenal and Manchester City are interested in me although I haven't spoken to anyone," Ibanez declared.

"For me it is the best thing that could have happened because it is a dream to play in The Premiership.

"I think that it (The Premiership), and La Liga are the best two leagues in the world, I especially like the stadiums in England and the way the public get behind the teams.

"They are all big teams that are interested in me, Manchester City are doing well and have some good players, while Arsenal are one of the three best teams in Europe."

However, the Albacete youth product was quick to state that while he remained at the club he would give his all to ensure they clinched their promotion dream.

"The most important thing for me is to play for Albacete this season and then see what happens.

"It would be good for me to go but of course I would have to look at the full offer, both financially and their plans for the future."
