The former Marseille man highlighted the emergence of young players such as striker Jeremie Aliadiere who have helped the Gunners reach the semi-final of the Carling Cup as the reason for manager Arsene Wenger not to delve into the transfer market, and says the club are starting to find their rhythm in Europe too.
"We have found our cruising rhythm in the Champions League," said the schemer.
"The tank is full. We have good players and young ones coming up who are showing their talent.
"Arsenal won't be signing anyone in the transfer window."
Wenger is a keen fan of using the Carling Cup to blood his young talent and Les Bleus star Pires says that if the young Highbury stars get the North London side to the final then they will play in the showdown game at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
"If Arsenal make the final it will be the same team - youngsters with a few professionals," he added.
"Arsene says those players don't play much so they deserve their chance and they are demonstrating in fine form what they can do."
