The 25-year-old has agreed a deal at The New Den after finishing last season with Rotherham United, following his release from Leeds.
"It was nice to hear of Millwall's interest, and knowing Dennis and Ray I was delighted to come here," said Morris.
"I've had the experience before where I've thought things were going to happen and they haven't come off so I didn't take anything for granted, but now the deal's been done I'm delighted.
"I have no qualms about playing in the First Division, but I'm determined to try and help Millwall reach The Premiership.
"Both Dennis and Ray have helped my career. I looked up to Dennis as a kid, and in fact I used to clean his boots. I'm really looking forward to working with them again.
"The fact that we will be playing European football this season is an added bonus, and I'm looking forward to some great nights in the Uefa Cup. But as I said, The Premiership is our main goal and I'll be doing my very best for the club and the fans to help Millwall get there."
Millwall are also set to confirm the signing of Arsenal's highly-rated young goalkeeper Graham Stack.
The Lions have also handed trials to former Leeds goalkeeper Danny Milosevic and ex-Bolton midfielder Gareth Farrelly.
