Greek to miss Gunners tie

Dimitrios Papadopoulos is likely to miss Panathinaikos' clash with Arsenal.

Dimitrios Papadopoulos is likely to miss Panathinaikos' UEFA Champions League clash with Arsenal through injury.

The striker was injured at the weekend after scoring his club's only goal in the victory over Kalamaria.

He injured his thigh during the match and the club's doctors predict Papadopoulos will require three weeks on the sidelines.

That absence will rule him out of the Greek champions' European tussle with their Premiership counterparts on October 20.

But Panathinaikos, who have also lost coach Itzhak Shum, fear the former Burnley forward could miss the return against Arsenal at Highbury on November 2.
