Marseille will meet Arsenal to discuss Mathieu Flamini's controversial move.Marseille are hopeful that a meeting with Arsenal can solve the longstanding feud over the transfer of Mathieu Flamini.
The French side are keen not to abandon their principles, as they feel wronged by the deal over the midfielder.
L'OM believe that Fifa were wrong to let Flamini complete a move in the summer, and have taken their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, despite Gunners boss Arsene Wenger insisting that there was no wrongdoing
However, general manager Pape Diouf is now prepared to listen to Arsenal's David Dein as The Gunners make their case.
"An agreement would save us a lot of costs," admitted Diouf.
"But if we abandon our proceedings with the Court of Arbitration for Sport we would not be supporting French clubs who educate players.
"David Dein told me it would be a shame not to find a solution.
"Nothing is going to stop the meeting anyway, perhaps it will be next week."
