Jose Antonio Reyes can leave Arsenal if he goes and sees Arsene Wenger.Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that if Jose Antonio Reyes wants to leave the North London club he only needs to come and see him.
The Spain international was tricked into conceding that he was unhappy in London earlier this week and that he harboured hopes of a switch to Real Madrid.
French tactician Wenger does not want to keep any player at Highbury who might be unhappy and has left the door open for Reyes to make the first move.
The Arsenal boss has stated in order for the Spanish winger to be happy in England he needs to be mentally strong to be able to handle the pressure.
"It's simple. If a player wants to leave, he just has to knock at my door and tell me," explained Wenger. "And then he has to bring a club that wants to buy him.
"This is a big challenge for him. He made the decision to join us and when we signed him, we went into the challenge together of making him one of the big players in the world.
"I feel for him. But when it doesn't go as well as he expected it to, he must show the strength needed. If he doesn't, he will not be happy.
"I don't find it shocking that he would have a dream to play for Real Madrid because everyone has the right to have a club of his dreams in his own country.
"But if you want to go abroad you have to accept it won't be easy. It's the same for everybody."
