Jeremie Aliadiere is planning talks over his future with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger.Jeremie Aliadiere is planning talks regarding his future with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, after rejecting a move to West Ham United.
The France Under-21 international has endured an injury-plagued career at Highbury but is keen to return to playing football on a regular basis.
The striker has made just one appearance for The Gunners this season since damaging his cruciate ligament in The Community Shield in August.
West Ham enquired about taking the 21-year-old on loan earlier this month but Aliadiere rejected a switch to Upton Park due to fears about his lack of fitness.
He admitted over the weekend that he would relish a switch to Paris Saint Germain in the summer, while PSV Eindhoven and Ajax are also monitoring his situation.
Aliadiere feels he is now back at peak fitness and is determined to force his way into the Arsenal team before the end of the season.
But if he is unable to fulfil that aim, he concedes he will speak to Wenger about the possibility of leaving the outgoing Premiership champions.
"Before talking about my destination, I want to be back to fitness," Aliadiere told But!
"Then I will talk with Arsene Wenger to know what he wants to do with me.
"I hope he will put me in the group soon. I feel fine physically.
"The coach was keen to loan me to West Ham but only for one month. But I preferred to stay in the reserve team at Arsenal.
"I had just come back from injury and I still lacked pace. West Ham's people would perhaps have not been happy with my current level.
"Now, I am waiting to see how the end of the season will be. If Arsene Wenger plays me, I can stay.
"However if he doesn't make me participate, I would tell him that I want to leave to play.
"Perhaps he won't appreciate it because he has always trusted me for the last six years.
"But I think I can make a name for myself at Arsenal. Besides Thierry Henry there is a place to take."
