Jose Antonio Reyes is looking to overcome the physical threat of Man Utd.Arsenal star Jose Antonio Reyes is looking to overcome the physical presence of Manchester United and come out on top in the FA Cup final.
The Spaniard was on the receiving end of some rough treatment as Arsenal's unbeaten run was ended at Old Trafford earlier in the season, and faded from the game in the face of strong tackles from Gary Neville.
In the return fixture at Highbury Gunners skipper Patrick Vieira sought out Neville to warn him about targeting the former Sevilla star, and Reyes revealed that such a gesture made him feel more a part of Arsene Wenger's side.
Reyes has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid in the summer after appearing to struggle with the physical realities of The Premiership, although he has enjoyed something of a rejuvenation of form in recent weeks.
The 21-year-old has previously insisted he is looking towards the future with Arsenal, and is targeting a vital victory at Cardiff.
"It's nice when your own team protects you like that and more so, when it's the captain or a player like Henry.
"It makes you feel much more part of the team.
"When we played United at Old Trafford in October their physical approach did surprise me.
"Every time I got the ball I did seem to get kicked a lot.
"Now, I'm just looking forward to the game and, hopefully, getting a winner's medal."
Reyes has been boosted by the news that his chief tormentor Neville is a doubt for the final with a groin strain.
