Brazilian star Edu has no regrets over leaving Arsenal for Valencia, but admits it would have been nice to run out in a UEFA Champions League final.
The talented midfielder left Arsenal on a Bosman free transfer last summer and although he suffered a serious knee injury shortly after moving to the Mestalla, he does not regret heading to Spain.
Edu could have been lining up in a Champions League final had he signed a new deal and he has wished his former team-mates well against Barcelona on Wednesday.
"It would be nice to be in the final of the Champions League, but I am happy here and I am enjoying it a lot," Edu told Sky Sports News. "I wish the guys all the best, I miss them, we had a good atmosphere in the dressing room and I wish them all the best.
"I am feeling good, I made my decision a year ago and I feel happy with it."
Barcelona head into Wednesday's Paris game as favourites, but Edu believes the contest is too close to call.
"Strange things can happen when there is just one game," he stressed. "During 90 minutes, any team can score.
"In a final when we are talking about big teams and big players, anything is possible.
"I think Barcelona is the favourite. They won the league, are playing very well, they beat Milan, a very strong team, to be in the final, so I think they are favourites.
"But anything can happen in a final."
