Jose Antonio Reyes has been passed fit for Spain's Euro 2008 qualifiers.
Arsenal attacker Jose Antonio Reyes has been passed fit for Spain's upcoming Euro 2008 qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Northern Ireland.
The former Sevilla star, who recently indicated he does not want to return to England in the face of interest from Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, passed a fitness test on Tuesday to render him available for Luis Aragones.
Reyes has not appeared for The Gunners yet this season, with the fierce speculation surrounding his future serving to disrupt his focus and a groin injury affecting his fitness.
However tests at the Clinica Centro have revealed that Reyes is now ready to play for his country in their first competitive game following their World Cup exit at the hands of France.
Medical staff from the Spanish federation have declared that "the kid is perfectly fit to play", and Aragones must now decide whether to field Reyes given his lack of match practice.
The tricky forward trained on Tuesday but refused to speak about his club future with two days to go before the transfer window closes.
