Johan Djourou wants Arsenal to respond to the defeat to CSKA Moscow with a win.
Johan Djourou wants Arsenal to respond to the defeat to CSKA Moscow by beating the Russians at Emirates Stadium.
A fortnight ago, a first-half goal from Daniel Carvalho took CSKA above Arsenal and to the top of UEFA Champions League Group G.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed he was unhappy with his players' attitude in Moscow and has called for a more professional approach on Wednesday.
Young defender Djourou accepts that the outcome in the Russian capital was not the one the club wanted.
But the Switzerland international is keen to play his part in helping The Gunners pick up a win which would take the club closer to the last 16 of the competition.
"We are going to try to take the game as seriously as possible and try to get the win," Djourou told Sky Sports News.
"That's what we want - to get through to the next round.
"Maybe it was not the result we wanted over there, so we have to respond.
"We are going to do everything to win the game."
