Fabrice Muamba has no regrets about missing the Carling Cup final with Arsenal.
Fabrice Muamba insists he has no regrets about joining Birmingham despite the knowledge that he could have been playing in the Carling Cup final on 25th February.
The England youth international has excelled on loan at St Andrews, but in his absence Arsenal's youngsters have battled all the way to the final of England's second cup competition - where they will face Chelsea.
Muamba would, in all likelihood, have featured heavily in the Carling Cup had he stayed in North London and has seen Abou Diaby and Denilson assume responsibility in the centre of midfield in his place.
However the 18-year-old is content that he is playing a major role in Blues' bid to bounce back to the Premiership at the first time of asking, rather than making sporadic appearances for The Gunners.
"Obviously playing in a cup final is a dream for any player," said Muamba.
"I had my time in the Carling Cup side last season and if I had been at Arsenal this season, I'd have probably played in the competition again.
"But I doubt whether I would have been involved in any other first-team games and playing for Birmingham has been far more beneficial for me.
"I've made more than 20 appearances and my game has really improved so I've got no regrets about coming to Birmingham."
