Want-away Le Mans midfielder Stephane Sessegnon faces a fight in fulfilling his desire to join Paris St Germain.
Sessegnon has reportedly caught they eye of a number of Euopean clubs - including Arsenal and Newcastle - following an impressive season with Le Mans last term.
However, the Benin international, 24, has set his sights on remaining in Ligue 1 and linking up with manager Paul Le Guen at PSG.
"I was contacted by Le Guen at the end of the season, and I want to join PSG," Sessegnon told Parisien.

"I want to progress. PSG will play in Europe next season and they will be fighting for the championship.
"I like Le Mans but I want to move to PSG. I am 24-years-old, and the president needs to understand that it is about my career."
But Le Mans chairman Henri Legarda is adamant that the midfielder will remain at Stade Leon-Bollee.
Legarda said: "I will not let him go. He is an important member of my club and one of the main men in the team. He won't leave, end of story."
