Striker expects battle for Champions League spot

Emmanuel Adebayor admits Arsenal need to win every game if they are to qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League. The Gunners are facing a real battle to finish in the top four after an indifferent league campaign. Arsenal are six points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa and Adebayor knows the pressure is on to overhaul Villa and qualify for the Champions League. Asked if qualifying for the Champions League was Arsenal's top priority, Adebayor told Sky Sports News: "Of course yes, otherwise I would just tell the boss I want to go on holiday. "To be in fourth we have to give everything, to win every single game now until the end of the season. "We know it is not going to be easy, we know it is going to be tough, but we just have to be ready in the head and face it."

Adebayor has also called on the club's fans to keep faith with them after they were booed off at the end of Saturday's stalemate with Fulham. "I just want to tell them I know it is difficult for everyone at the moment," added Adebayor. "It is difficult for the boss, difficult for us as players, for them as fans - so they just have to keep doing what they love the most which is keep pushing us on."
