Arsene Wenger has admitted there is a 'burning desire' within his Arsenal squad to win a trophy this season.
The Gunners climbed to fourth in the Premier League table over the weekend as they crushed Blackburn 4-0 and Aston Villa suffered a surprise defeat at home by Tottenham.
Wenger is confident his men will secure a UEFA Champions League place for next term but he is also looking to land some silverware.
Arsenal face Hull City in an FA Cup quarter-final on Tuesday night and Wenger intends to field a full-strength side.
"With everybody coming back, we can cope with that," he said in the Daily Mirror.
"Of course there is a burning desire to win a trophy and if we focus on our performances then we can create something special.
"If we are consistent we will be ahead of Villa at the end of the season. We have the experience to cope with pressure and that helps.
"I expected us to win against Blackburn but I didn't expect Villa to lose to Tottenham. That was the bonus of the weekend."
Andrey Arshavin sustained a nasty gash in his right foot during the clash with Blackburn but he is still in contention to face the Tigers.
Wenger will make an assessment on his condition before kick-off but realises the Russian is determined to play his part.
"Arshavin had eight stitches in his foot but he is still in the squad," Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
"We will make a decision today. He is desperate to be involved. He just wants to play.
"He couldn't practice today but we'll assess him in the morning."
