Milan midfielder wary of Arsenal ahead of San Siro clash

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf admits he is not sure what to expect from Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. The two sides meet at the San Siro in the first knockout round after clashing at the same stage in 2008. Seedorf was part of the Milan side that lost 2-0 on aggregate four years ago; with both of Arsenal's goals coming in the second leg in Milan. It is the Gunners' inconsistent form this season that has prevented them from challenging Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham to the Premier League title. Saturday's 2-1 win at Sunderland was the first time Arsene Wenger's side had won two consecutive games since November 2011. But Seedorf knows that his side will face a tough test if Arsenal perform to their best in Italy this week.

Unpredictable

He said: "Arsenal are a very unpredictable team to play against. "If you look at their performances during the year, sometimes they play against big teams like Chelsea and win 5-3 and then they'll lose against a smaller team. "We know because of this we need to be very respectful of their qualities, because they're capable of winning against anybody. "I think people are entertained when they go to see Arsenal. They haven't won as much as they could have done, but I think that he (Arsene Wenger) is a great coach. "My only criticism of Arsene Wenger is that he hasn't combined experience with the young players."
