Arsenal boss full of praise for Walcott

Arsene Wenger praised Arsenal's 'relentless effort' as the key for their latest win after fighting back to defeat Newcastle. The win was the Gunners' fifth league victory in succession and moved them to within a point of North London rivals Tottenham in the Premier League's top three. It was the fourth game in a row in which Arsenal have fought back from behind to take all three points and Wenger says his team never give up. "It was a game of absolute commitment on both sides, you have to give credit to Newcastle as well," Wenger told Sky Sports 1 HD.

Intelligent

"It needed something special to beat them tonight. And what beat them tonight was our relentless effort just to win the game. We just did not stop and in the end we won it. "I said to my assistant in the final minute, 'One more attack and we will score', so much was my belief." Asked about the performance of man of the match Walcott, Wenger added: "He was outstanding from the first to the last minute. "It's one of the best, best games I've seen of Theo, because I felt tonight he had absolutely everything in his game - combined well, crossed well, was always in the game. "He's making good progress. He's an intelligent boy. People forget he is very young - 23 years old."
