Everton teenager Antony Evans has signed his first professional contract with the Premier League club.

Evans, who turned 17 just over two weeks ago, has committed to terms which will keep him at Goodison Park until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The attacking midfielder joined the Blues Academy when he was nine and has been rewarded with a deal after impressing this season for the U18s and U21s.

"It's a dream come true and all I've wanted since I was a kid starting out playing football," he told evertontv.

"The senior players are like idols, so it's been great to be playing with them because you become a better player yourself.

"The jump from the U18s to the U21s is massive. Going between the two is difficult, but it's really good experience and I'm thankful for it.
