Premier League stats: The best match facts from Saturday's action

Newcastle moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday while there were also victories for Arsenal, West Ham, Watford and Everton.

But which side extended their unbeaten run to 10 games? And who made his first Premier League appearance in 511 days?

Everton have never lost against Bournemouth in the six matches they have played in all competitions (W5 D1).

The Cherries have lost three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time since November (four in a row).

Leighton Baines scored from open play in the Premier League for the first time since January 2013.

Six of Andros Townsend's nine Premier League goals have been scored from outside the box.

Townsend has scored more Premier League goals for Newcastle (four in 11 appearances) than he managed for Tottenham (three in 50).

Crystal Palace have conceded in each of their last nine Premier League games on the road.

Karl Darlow is the first Newcastle goalkeeper to save a penalty in the Premier League since Tim Krul vs Blackburn in February 2012.

Yohan Cabaye had scored his previous four penalties in the Premier League before today's miss against Newcastle.

Jermain Defoe has now netted 14 goals for Sunderland this season, his second best tally for goals in a Premier League season (18 goals in 2009/10).

Only Harry Kane (14) and Riyad Mahrez (12) have scored more away goals in the Premier League this season than Jermain Defoe (11).

Eight of Marko Arnautovic's 11 Premier League goals for Stoke this season have come at home.

Aston Villa have lost 11 successive league matches - their joint-longest sequence of league defeats since May 1963 (11 in a row).

Villa have led in just eight Premier League games this season, winning just three of those matches (D2 L3).

West Brom's Jonathan Leko is the first player born in 1999 to start a Premier League game.

Dimitri Payet is the fourth West Ham player to assist 10 goals in a Premier League season, following Matt Holmes (10, 1993/94), Eyal Berkovic (10 in 1997/98 and 11 in 1998/99) and Paolo Di Canio (13 in 1999/2000).

Only Southampton (14) have scored more headed goals than the Hammers (13) in the Premier League this season.

Arsenal failed to have a shot on target in the first half against the Canaries but Welbeck's goal in the 59th minute was their first shot on target.

No side has kept fewer clean sheets than Norwich in the Premier League this season (five, level with Villa).
