LIVINGSTON chief Jim Leishman has confirmed that Everton are interested in youngster Patrick Boyle.
The 16-year-old left back has already visited Goodison Park to have a look around, and Toffees boss David Moyes is keen to snap up the talent.
Speaking to planetfootball.com, Leishman confirmed that he had already spoken to Moyes about the player.
"I spoke to David Moyes about Patrick Boyle last season," said Leishman.
"He's been down there to look around and was impressed with what he saw.
"I understand that Everton are one of the clubs that are very keen to take him on.
"I think he has the potential and talent to do very well, and obviously under the Bosman rules we would receive compensation if he leaves the club."
Leishman also stated that a deal for Theodore Whitmore was close.
He added: "We are in advanced talks with Theodore Whitmore and are hopeful a deal will be done.
"We also have one or two other irons in the fire."
