Chris Coleman's side had complained to The FA about the Scottish striker after the FA Cup fourth round tie at Goodison Park back in January.
The Cottagers claimed that Ferguson had racially abused the Portugal international hit-man during the match.
The FA, though, say that there is not enough evidence to charge the fiery Ferguson and he has escaped charge.
"The FA can announce that it found insufficient evidence to charge Mr Ferguson, following allegations of racial abuse by Fulham player Luis Boa-Morte," said an FA statement.
The Toffees man will still be in trouble with The FA though, as he has pleaded guilty to violent behaviour and improper conduct charges after their match at Leicester.
Ferguson was sent off during the 1-1 draw but grabbed German midfielder Stefan Freund by the throat during an angry exchange moments after receiving the red card.
